My thoughts:
Interrupted is the first book I've read by Rachel Coker and it was so good! I enjoy reading WWII novels, but I've never read a YA set during that time before.
Parts of the story were so sad and I felt for Allie as she went through painful experiences. Then there were moments that were beautiful and sweet -- especially the ones with Sam. I really liked Sam and how he stayed Allie's friend, even when she didn't act very friendly towards him! He was my favorite character. :)
Overall, a really good book! I recommend Interrupted - it's an interesting, clean read.
